DESCRIPTION
This qualification reflects the role of individuals who apply specialised knowledge and skills, together with experience in leadership and management, across a range of enterprise and industry contexts.
Individuals at this level use initiative and judgement to plan and implement a range of leadership and management functions, with accountability for personal and team outcomes within broad parameters.
They use cognitive and communication skills to identify, analyse and synthesise information from a variety of sources and transfer their knowledge to others, and creative or conceptual skills to express ideas and perspectives or respond to complex problems.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Entry to this qualification is limited to those who:
- Have completed a Diploma or Advanced Diploma from the BSB Training Package (current or superseded equivalent versions).
Or
- Have two years equivalent full-time relevant workplace experience in an operational or leadership role in an enterprise.
Applicants must be over the age of 18 at the time of commencement.
ENGLISH LANGUAGE ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
International Student Entry: English Language level of IELTS 5.5 or its equivalent.

Total number of units = 10
- 5 core units plus
- 5 elective units, of which:
- 3 elective units must be selected from the elective units listed below
- for the remaining 2 elective units:
- up to 2 units may be selected from the elective units listed below
- if not listed, up to 2 units may be selected from an Advanced Diploma or above, from this or any other currently endorsed Training Package qualification or accredited course.
Elective units must be relevant to the work environment and the qualification, maintain the integrity of the AQF alignment and contribute to a valid, industry-supported vocational outcome.

DURATION
This program will be scheduled to be delivered over 38 weeks of full time study (46 weeks with holiday periods) – 20 hours of scheduled classes per week for 38 weeks.
SCHEDULE
This will be achieved by scheduling classes for a 2 days per week over 38 weeks. The other days of the week can be used for private study time and extra tuition, if required. As a 46 week program it is there are 8 weeks of holiday periods in the term/semester.
COURSE COMMENCEMENT
Monthly intake commencing the first Monday of every month.
